HR Specialist
Hotel Opening - Chesa Marchetta, Sils Maria
Located on the site of two meticulously restored traditional houses in the Engadin, Switzerland, Chesa Marchetta will revive a beloved local institution. The new hotel boasts beautifully appointed bedrooms, 1 private residence, 45-seat restaurant, cocktail bar, wine cellar, and two intimate private event spaces.
What you’ll do with us:
• Be a key member of our team as we open this fantastic hotel and restaurant
• Take responsibility for the full employment cycle as you recruit and onboarding our new team, support throughout their time with us and manage all stages of offboarding
• Coordinate performance reviews and processing of feedback with your General Manager, identifying training, coaching and mentoring needs
• Promote a positive working environment focused on engagement, recognition and communication with our team at all levels
• Keep us compliant with company policies, payroll checks and managing our employee relations
• Manage our people management system ensuring accuracy of data, on time information inputs and reporting for management and payroll
• Be confident in supporting our management team on best practise while remaining a confidential point of contact for team members
• Manage accommodation for our team, supporting with new arrivals and day to day support where required
What you bring:
• Relevant HR experience with time spent in hotels or hospitality
• Practical experience of payroll management
• Good working knowledge of L-GAV
• Experience with Mirus software preferrable
• Hands on experience of managing employee relations
• Confident in recruiting and resourcing
